Which cookie do we use? how is it possible to enable or disable it?
We use various types of cookie depending on its function and purpose. In general, cookie may be divided in two macro categories: technical cookie and profiling cookie.
Technical cookies
ensure optimal use of our website by making navigation faster and easier and are used for the sole purpose of allowing the easy use of our online services. We need to use this cookie because, in its absence, some sections of our website would not be accessible or would be difficult to use. We do not ask for your consent to its use, it is not possible to deactivate them and the legal basis that allows us to use it is our legitimate interest in the proper functioning of our website.
Functional cookie
that allows navigation according to a series of selected criteria (for example, language) also falls within the category of technical cookies.
Furthermore, analytical cookie, through which we only become aware of statistical information, collected in aggregate form relating to the number of visitors and how they use our website, is also assimilated to technical cookie. If the information is not collected in aggregate form and instead shall include identification data (for example, the IP address used by your device), the cookies used to collect this additional data will be qualified as profiling cookies, active only after submitting your consent.
Profiling cookie is used to collect information regarding your browsing habits (pages visited, items placed in the cart, etc.): this data is used by us to offer you personalized content and targeted advertising. Profiling cookie can be proprietary (or first party) if managed directly by Calzedonia S.p.A. or third party, i.e. owned by our business partners.
All profiling cookie (both first party and third party ones) can be enabled/disabled using our configurator or by changing the settings of the browser you are using for web browsing.
We remind you that profiling cookie, although marked with a tick, will only be effective if you click the "Accept" button placed on the banner dedicated to cookie on our website. Therefore, profiling cookie collects information about your navigation only on the basis of your express consent.

What is the duration of the cookie?
Depending on the duration of the cookie, we distinguish between:
Temporary cookie
(or session one): the data collected by this cookie are kept for a limited period which corresponds to the duration of your browsing session;
Permanent cookie
( it has the function of storing data (for example, the password for access to restricted areas, thus avoiding that it must be entered at each visit). The information collected by this cookie therefore remains stored in the device used for your navigation even after the browser is closed.

How to contact Data Controllers and the Data Protection Officer?
Data controllers (i.e. the subjects who determine the purposes and methods of processing of personal data) are Calzedonia S.p.a., with registered office in Malcesine (VR), Via Portici Umberto Primo 5/3, and administrative office in Dossobuono di Villafranca (VR), Via Monte Baldo n. 20.
The Data Controllers have appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted by writing to DPO@calzedonia.com
Recipients of data and data transfer outside the European Union
The information collected through cookie will be communicated to:
-Calzedonia S.p.A. staff in charge of the management and monitoring of websites;
- suppliers and consultants, subject to the stipulation of a contract for the appointment of data processor or joint controller.
In some cases, the data could also be transferred outside the European Union to countries that adopt a level of data protection similar to the European one (and therefore recipients of adequacy decisions) or subject to the stipulation of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission with decision 2021/914 and aimed at subjecting the transfer to adequate guarantees of protection.
What are your rights?
You can exercise the rights that the law guarantees you regarding your personal data by writing to privacy@calzedonia.com . We will reply to your request as soon as possible and in any case no later than 30 days from the receipt of your report. In some cases, we may ask you for a copy of an identification document if, in connection with your request, it becomes necessary to verify your identity.
Right of access
You have the right to know if a processing of personal data concerning you is in progress and - if confirmed - to obtain a copy of such data and be informed about the origin of the data; the categories of personal data processed; the recipients of the data; the purposes of the processing; the existence of an automated decision-making process, including profiling; the data retention period; the rights provided for by the EU Regulation 2016/679.
Right of rectification
You have the right to obtain the rectification of the data in our possession concerning you or to integrate the data that are incomplete.

Right of erasure
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data if it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or if we are no longer authorized to process it.
Right of restriction of processing
You have the right to obtain the restriction of the processing in the following cases:
a) you have contested the accuracy of your personal data. You can request the restriction of processing for the period in which we will verify the accuracy of your data;
b) we are not authorized to process your data and, instead of deleting them, you can ask us to restrict its use;
c) if the data we are in possession of - even if it is no longer necessary for us for the purposes of the processing for which it was collected – is necessary for you to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court;
d) you have opposed a treatment based on our legitimate interest. Pending the verification of the prevalence of our legitimate reasons with respect to those that refer to you as an interested party, you can ask us to restrict the processing.
Right to withdraw consent
You can withdraw your consent in relation to all the processings that are based on it, by accessing the configurator .
Right to data portability
In the event that we process your data on the basis of your consent or in execution of a contract, or the processing is carried out by automated means, you can exercise the right to data portability. You will then be able to receive the personal data you have communicated to us in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device. You can also request to transmit your data directly to another company, as long as this is technically possible.
Right of opposition
You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interest, including profiling.
We also inform you that, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you is carried out in contrast with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
